Campaign Headquarters

My second son, who is 15, is running for Junior Class V.P. for next year. I am so incredibly proud that he decided to do this, I believe it takes major courage to put yourself out there in this way. (I was never that brave) We have been painting posters and T-shirts, printing labels, making buttons and planning his skit. It has been fun and he is excited, I hope that even if he does not win that he finds this an incredibly rewarding experience :)

I really enjoyed my time in high school, but there are a few things I wished I would have been brave enough to try out for. What about you? What is the one thing you wish you had done in high school?

  1. When I was that age all I was thinking about was the love of my life and not being able to wait until I was out of school and grown up. Now, I look back and just wished I would have enjoyed that phase of my life!

  2. Tried sports! I've never been particularly athletic, and I was always afraid of doing terrible on a team. Now I wish I'd just gone for it.

Kudos to your son for taking the jump! :)
